Sanford C. Wilder • Training Consultant
Experience and Education:
After receiving a B.A in Economics from Union College, I played professional soccer and then coached, counseled, administered and taught at Principia College for eight years. In 1984 I joined Communico and have been consulting, training and coaching leaders at all levels to be more effective, personally and interpersonally, on teams and systemically.
I co-developed the MAGIC® Service Culture System, Communico's leadership offerings, and the “The Quiet Work of Leadership”, an audio tape/CD/booklet focused on the leader's role in sustaining a culture for world-class leadership and performance.
Personal Trajectory:
My purpose is to help us never again experience helplessness. I see way too many of us giving in to our circumstances and feeling like we can't make the difference we would like to. I am committed to progressing in my life and helping others to progress in whatever is most important to them. I believe that as we re-discover (or remember) our purpose in life, and let that determine our priorities, we will help lift each other and ourselves to new views of what is possible.
Virtues:
I train every day, physically, mentally, and spiritually so I can enlarge my sweet spot and hit the zone in whatever activity or conversation I am in.
Vices:
Lobsters, steamed clams, artichokes and anything else you can dip in melted butter.
Favorite Project:
Anything to help you live on purpose.
Special Interests:
Golfing, snowboarding, running, motorcycling, skydiving, reading, Tai Chi, and spiritual healing.
