Martha Mendoza • Training ConsultantExperience:
Starting with a stint as a secretary (back when they were called secretaries!) in a MarComm department at a Fortune 100 firm, my career has spanned 22 years. Over 17 of those years have been dedicated to supporting, creating, marketing, facilitating and managing human resource learning and performance solutions.
B.S., Business, Marymount College
M.Ed. Human Resource Education, Boston University
MSCEIT Certified (Mayer, Salovey, Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test)
Personal Trajectory:
In 1990, I chanced upon a customer service training organization (guess who!) that took a chance on a largely inexperienced, but highly passionate (guess who!) wannabe trainer. What a break. Since then, I've known that I love what I do.
Virtues:
Absolutely nothing bores me (save for golf and people who don't listen).
Vices:
Is being addicted to the internet a vice?
Favorite Project:
Most recently, I'm enjoying writing my blog on EQ, developing a web-based personal knowledge management system and building my coaching business.
Special Interest:
Travel, travel and more travel. Reading, tennis, cooking, yoga, horse-back riding, sailing, skiing. Learning. Technology (especially internet technology). Husband.
