Connie Kelly • Training ConsultantExperience:
Spent the first part of my career in public relations and marketing for non-profits and the next 15 years (yikes!) as a facilitator and consultant (much more rewarding work!). Have worked as a writer, editor and am a grammar nut. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from West Virginia University. I am the Chief Administrator for a household of five—3 kids, 1 husband, 1 bird and a slew of neighbor kids.
Personal Trajectory:
I'm an authentic “Jersey Girl” without the accent and big hair. I do love to go “down the shore” and loved Bruuuuce back in the 70's. I grew up in the country with a horse, dogs, cats, farms and good climbing-trees. Learned to appreciate the best that life has to offer and to see the best in others. My common sense approach to life led me to a career that lets me help in positive ways.
Virtues:
Am eternally optimistic and always see the bright side. I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.
Vices:
Chocolate-chocolate Dove Bars and a crippling need to volunteer for too many committees.
Favorite Project:
Co-development of the Leading With Mastery curriculum.
Special Interest:
Beautifying my big back yard—I love to grow plants and flowers and dig in the dirt!
