Experience and Education:
25+ years of business experience, including marketing positions with Citibank and Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst and Young). Transitioned to the world of learning and development by joining SCM Corporation, where I was responsible for executive education and marketing/sales training. Joined Communico in 1986 as the Director of Marketing.
Author of How to Talk to Customers: Create a Great Impression Every Time with MAGIC.
B.S. Business Administration, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
MBA in Marketing, Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management
Personal Trajectory:
I wanted to work in a place where I could collaborate with others, continue to grow and know that I was making a difference. That's Communico. I believe in what we do, I am constantly amazed and inspired by the people I meet, and I am grateful to be part of this special team.
Virtues:
I've got rhythm, cheerleader-like spirit and energy, and a commitment to health and fitness.
Vices:
Carbs (especially whole-wheat bagels); teeny bopper music; my husband and son (and some of my co-workers for that matter) think that my driving is not my best quality.
Favorite Project:
Learning how to get my feisty wheaten terrier to do what I want; learning how to get a golf ball to go where I want; realizing that I can't always get animate or inanimate objects to do what I want; recognizing my potential to do so.
Special Interests:
Striving to maintain a "fitness age" that is one half of my chronological age; baking luscious desserts for others to enjoy; singing in the shower.
